Dennis Parrish, 12.23.2003 - I road race in a vintage organization (www.ahrma.org) and ride a 1975 Kawasaki Z1. I had a great season last year - winning 18 of 28 sprint races, 8 seconds, a third at Mid-Ohio and a fourth at Daytona. My bike displaces 1015cc's, has cams, some head work, and lots of little things to make it turn, stop, and do those other things that matter when you're racing. It has to have the stock style fenders, seat, tank and instrument cluster. You can see it doesn't look too unusual, but it was running 142mph at Daytona in the rain! That wasn't my funniest moment... My bike has been great, and I'm building a 'new' 900 that'll resemble a '73 in color & style for this year and keep my green bike as a backup.

It also has the engine from a 1977 Kawasaki KZ and it has been bored out to about 1036cc's. Hope you like my little fun machine.

Zues von Berger, 01.27.2004 - 1980 LTD T.C. Motor is MK11 casing's with pearson 1294 cheater block Falicon stroker crank that's making just under 1400cc at 302 hp at the crank. alcohol injection tank with oxygen sensor. In need of a rear end that can support a 240mm.

Martin Powers, September 14, 2005 - Great site guys, keep up the good work. Here is a pic of my 1 owner 74 Z1 that I bought new 3/12/74. This bike is a 7 time national record holder in the 80s. It is a 1045 cc and carried 640# with me on it. Ran bests of 9.38 @ 138 in the 1/4 and 5.87 @ 116 in the 1/8. Although keeps me from riding anymore, I took the bike to the track last fall and got a local racer to ride it and it went 9.43 in the 1/4 and 5.89 in the 1/8 proving my old Z hasn't lost a step even if I have. No tach, shift light or 2-step ever. Runs on gas and 31mm CR carbs with a 63" WB.
Thanks
