First Series Z1 (10/72) - 1973 KAWASAKI Z1 900:
From my personal collection I decided to offer this 1973 model Z1 900 with a low three digit production number, VIN Z1F-00763 (engine # Z1E-00771). The bike has been overhauled personally by myself a few years ago. I decided to finish it in the appealing European green/yellow color combination.
While the bike has been totally apart in the process, frame painted and all, it was not restored in every detail, but was refinished based on the many good parts that I found when I started, while many other parts were replaced as needed to complete it to the stunning appearance that you see it in, including the mighty four in four exhaust system.
The motorcycle is in good operating condition, needs nothing but a new home in the garage of an appreciative collector. I have put only about 100 miles on it since completion of the redo. Lack of time to ride it more often and the fact that many other motorcycles are there to choose from in my collection made me decide to offer it here on our website.

The asking price is $18,900.00 obo. / SOLD
Please inquire by email, I’d be happy to give you more information and possibly forward more pictures if interest exists.

1973 Kawasaki Z1:
This is one of the original Kawasaki classics. VIN Z1F06084. I bought this motorcycle in May. An opportunity to attend school in Europe has presented itself and unfortunately I cannot take the bike with me.
The previous owner did quite a bit of work on the bike. He cleaned and detailed the engine, painted the bike, put new tires and a new Vance&Hines four in one header on, replaced plugs and plug wires and fuel lines, and shined the bike up beautifully. He had to abandon his project and had the bike stored in a garage for 2 years. When I purchased the bike it had not run for 2 years. I drained and replaced all the fluids, rebuilt the carburetors, installed a new battery, stator, and relay. Now the bike runs great.
It does need a new speedometer and rear brake master cylinder. The Speedometer reads 19000 miles. The previous owner said this is accurate. I've only put a couple hundred miles on the bike. I have the clear title. This bike could easily be a full fledged streetfighter with just a little work and will make someone who loves these legendary bikes very happy.

Asking price $ 2,500.00
